Santa-Cali-Gon Days Festival Vendors
It's Labor Day weekend and Santa Cali Gon Days Festival is going on right now in Independence MO. There are lots of interesting vendors this year! The festival is huge so it might be hard to find the vendors, stores, or anything you are looking for if you are not prepared. I'm going to post the list of Santa-Cali-Gon Days Festival vendors this year so anyone looking to shop there can make sure they don't miss out on anything. The festival is at the Historic Independence Square, Independence, Mo. (Osage to Memorial Drive, between Truman and Walnut streets). There are vendors for just about anything.
Santa-Cali-Gon Days Festival Parking
Parking could be difficult. Admission is free. You can pay $5 to park near the festival grounds. Free shuttle service is available from satellite parking lots at William Chrisman High School, 1223 N Noland Road (Note: This shuttle does not run on Friday.), and the Community of Christ Auditorium, 1001 W. Walnut Street. Several parking lots are available along the perimeter of the festival grounds and are operated by local non-profit organizations.
Santa-Cali-Gon Days Festival Hours:
Sept. 2 - Carnival Only 6 p.m.
Sept. 3 - 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Sept. 4 - 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Overland Park Fall Festival Crafters & Artists
The Annual Overland Park Fall Festival was yesterday Saturday September 26th from 9am to 5pm. There were lots of art and craft vendors as well as food, entertainment, a trade show, and the farmers' market. By 10am, Santa Fe Commons Park and the general downtown Overland Park area were flooded with people. Lots of them were shopping and spending money of arts and crafts that they liked. Although booths were somewhat spread out, the area was still very crowded. Admission was free.
If you missed this event, many vendors will be at various other events from now till the end of the year as we head into the Christmas shopping season. I have also listed the contact information of the arts and crafts and some other vendors that were at this festival so if you need to re-order something, you can contact the vendors directly.
